I spend a great deal of time with computer programming and computer-related activities and electronics in general.  I also like skiing and hiking, and I enjoy arts and entertainment (movies, musicals, live performances, etc.), both behind the scenes and in front of the stage.

Immediately after secondary school, I took up working full time for a web hosting company located in downtown Vancouver. Shortly after I relocated to Michigan, I had the opportunity to work remotely for Stormix Technologies Inc., a Linux-based software and hardware company. Due to market conditions and other unexpected factors, I ended up returning to my previous employer for the time being.

I met Christine on IRC back while I was still in high school, and we have shared many great years together since then. We met back just before most IRC networks began evolving rapidly into huge collection of societal rejects and thirteen-year-old script kiddies (okay, maybe not that bad). "Back in the good old days", which surely will feel like seconds as the years pass.  We are extremely lucky to have found each other, and (with the exception of having family too far apart), are now living very happily together, with many years to come.
